I had a great time at the CT meet this weekend. Thanks to all for their efforts in organizing such an event. I also really enjoyed meeting all of you and viewing your specific mod's. Of'course, now after seeing what can be done, my bank account with become less full in the next few months as I embark on my modding campaign. I wanted to get some feedback on some ideas.
Like what C's and Pole's did to their E70 grills, I wanted to create a Space Gray, and Glossy Gun Mental motif like the 215 Ferric Metal. So, I want to take the kidne grill and slats, all lattice in the grill, all emblems on the side and rear X5, and oval exhuast in that Glossy Gun Metal color. Take my 214 and have them done in the Ferric metal look. Then tint (spray or film?) the white part of the taillights. Tint the amber front reflectors and rear red reflectors. Increase the tints on the windows to 5% all around except for the two fronts at 30% (I have 35 all around now.) Add the running boards and Add the Aero kit as well. What about the Aero kit in the Gun Metal Glossy
instead of space gray?
And I was so inspired, that I had to take about 200 pictures of my X today in the beautiful weather...here's some to share. The first two were taken almost 2 years ago in a Vermont trail (I forgot I wasn't in my Jeep!)
