What do we know about 2010 X5?

What do we know about the 2010 X5 so far?

I've heard they have the new i-Drive

But what about...
Twin turbo gasoline six?
Paddle shifters on any non-M models?
New colors?
Anything else cool?

A new hybrid model will supposedly be announced in September.

I hope they improve the quality of the back-up camera.

A new more powerful, more efficient diesel engine, for non-US models.

Higher prices.

My X5 went in for service this week and since my lease is going to be up in the fall, I spoke with the Sales Manager. He said that all BMW's will have the new iDrive in the fall including the X5. I'm leaning toward getting a 35d to replace the 4.8 - the torque is great and the difference in gas mileage is night and day.

So, no twin turbo 3.0 for X5?
Is this information confirmed?

Not much change for 2010 other than idrive/connected drive and some cosmetic stuff.

Most changes will happen next year on 2011 facelift /LCI model when the new engines are included for "i" models and the diesel gets the tri-turbo.

Watch this thread for facelift X5

I would be surprised if BMW did not start offering the Vermilion Red for the US market in 2010.

Its already available. Advertised for diesel and you have to specify to dealer for others.
