Hello all. I've been a little busy here and there installing a few things since picking up my new truck 2 weeks ago. I'm not completely finished, but I wanted to share. So far...

- 128 Wheels
- Extended Wheel Arches
- Out with the chrome...Installed Shadowline trim. (what a PITA that was)
- Black Grilles
- 8500K Angel Eyes
- 3000K Fogs
- LED License Plate Lights
- Clear Side Reflectors

The 128's should come standard on the X5 - great looking truck!

Can anyone provide some insight into how much worse the ride quality is? I have the 18" style 212's and want to upgrade to the 20" style 214's or 21" style 128. I live in Toronto, Ontario and the roads are pretty brutal with potholes. Thanks in advance for the input.

Without runflat tires, the ride will be even softer ....

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately I have 3rd row seats and TPMS sensors so I need the run flats. I suspect you mean that the ride will be harder with the runflats because of the stiffer sidewall.

Correct. I admit I have an oem spare tire, so could get rit of the runflats. With these on in size 21, it was pretty harsh yes. Replacing them with their non RF variant, changed the ride completely. Some people are really surprised with the level of comfort I have now. Also no rattles whatsoever in the car.

Hey for everyone who asked the ride is not harsh at all. I know it's all relative to each person, but I don't see much of a ride difference between the 18" stock and the 21" 128's that are on now.

The one big difference is the handling does feel better. The small amount that you may give up with the ride quality is completely outweighed by the fantastic looks and better handling you get with the new wheels

Nice and tastefully done prov, what shoes are those 128's wearing? Where and how much did you get the 128s for if you don't mind sharing?
