Survey: Tire wear on 20" vs 21"

Just curious. I'm seriously considering replacing my 214's (20 inch) with 128's (21 inch). And wanted to know if there is a big difference in tire tread life. I'm guessing the 21's get less miles, but I'm just curious by home much.

How many miles are people getting on their tires?

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Do you drive very aggressively? I have oem 214 on mine now. Have a little over 13,000 miles. Hoping to another 12,000. My rear's might do it, but the front looks like they might not last that long.

Approaching 50,000km with 215's and staggered OEM set up. I keep the pressure checked every 4 weeks and avoid gravel roads.

Cheers,

Wow! That about 31,068 miles! What pressure do you keep your tires at?

TaMbALoLoNg is an unknown quantity at this point
BMW dealer mechanics recommend a stiff 42 psi for low profile tires for maximum life. I keep mine monitored at 40 psi.

2.6 rear, 2.4 front, styling 128

With runflat dunlops : 35000 km and needed to replace
With normal dunlops : now 7000 km and you see them wearing already, so problaby be gone at 20000 km

I have a normal driving style but tow a lot, maybe that makes a difference.
