What material is it made from? the heavier the better for snow,They have some decent ones from empire. their website has a computer generation tool so you can see what the cover looks like on and off the car pretty cool.

Used to have them on my cars up north when i was in college. Not a huge deal in the winter, you just need to keep a brush handy to get the snow off prior to folding it up and storing it - frozen rain/ice is another story. Evolution fabric (waffle fabric) is pretty water resistant so they were rarely frozen solid, only after a lot of use and when they were really getting old.
The trick is keeping the inside clean!!! It's great for protection when the car is clean, but if the car is dirty, you don't want to use it cause then when you put it on a clean car it get's it dirty. Only other problem is that my cars were black and when it would rain on the cover, dust would get "washed" onto the clean car underneath..requiring a re-wash of a clean car....

Yes I've noticed that the windshield gets dirty when it rains with the cover on. I don't notice it too much on the rest of the car, but it's space gray and hides the dirt pretty well.
