Pic Request: 3.0si or 35d with 214's

Hey all...need some help here

Looking for pics of your E70 that you've upgraded from the stock 18's to 20's - specifically to the 214 Y Spoke.

I've found a couple on the forum but I hear there are many peeps that have done this (which I cannot find pics of)

With or without spacers.
With fender extension arch flares or not.

Help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

went from 19s to 20s and would do it again in a heartbeat... everytime I looked at my 19s I wished I had the 214s so I finally pulled the trigger along with the flares. Recently got spacers on them too.

The rest of the pics in my sig are without spacers. You have to see it in person to really appreciate how much sportier it looks now (thx Cman). I admit I stare at it when walking away.

BTW, I saw a dark tan E53 with the 214s in Brooklyn the other day... looked pretty good on that too. It's one smexy design.

Here's mine. Since these pics were taken, I've added the fender flares...

We are going to upgrade my Wife's diesel, when it gets here, to 214s. We are also going to do the Fender Kit as well.

Where is everyone buying their 214s? (Not to Hijack.)

I got very lucky and found a set of factory-mounted take-offs at a dealer here in Houston. Apparently someone bought a new 09 X5 and wanted to replace the 20s with 21s.

Looks SWEET!!! (and a mean stance )

So I see 20's with and without spacers - any ride quality differences?
Also, what do you do for winter?

Cheers

Dude - that's awesome. Give's me an idea what mine could look like. I like the kidney grill change too. Any changes to the springs? Looks a tad lower or maybe I'm staring at these pics too much

Original pics at the beginning, and then with 214's at the end of the thread. Good luck !

I noticed two things with my 35d and the 214's.

1. There is more road noise from the tires.
2. Fuel consumption is reduced.

apw,

Looks nice.

When you say "fuel consuption is reduced", do you mean you MPG actually increases? or MPG is reduced? (I would guess the latter)

Any by how much, approx.?
