Over 1000km on a full tank

Range was showing 1128 just after I filled up but the best I've ever had was about 930km. Mostly motorway driving across Europe.
Anyone actually get over 1000km one one tank?

With a diesel it is completely possible. Of course, the range is based on the last 50km of driving style/roads, so your actual range may vary.

My range is about 320 miles per tank (gas engine) - 515 kilometers. I guess I need to keep off that gas pedal.

I'm getting between 300 and 360 miles per tank, using 93 gas on my 4.8i and using the BMW Fuel cleaner every 15K miles. When I had the X5D, I was getting 460-500 miles and the diesel fuel was cheaper than 93!

I usually get around 400 miles per tank on my 3.0si with 93 gas.
Whats the BMW fuel cleaner? How often do you use it? Any other benefits apart from keeping the valves and fuel injectors clean?

L's beating me on my E90. 16.2 mpg / 260 miles for this tank. no more going 100. I really have done 530 before. I swear...

Both my E90 and E53 are optimistic shortly after a fill... YMMV. Literally

When I drive mostly highway/interstate, I've stretched my range in the X3 to over 725km with the 2,5 litre petrol and a 67 litre fuel tank. Naturally the X5 has a larger fuel tank.

I almost always get over 500 miles per tank, I have on occasion gotten it closer to 600 if I'm doing a lot of highway driving. Diesel X5.

Here's 568 miles or, 914 kms on a one tank run from a couple years ago...
a pic repost, but my best "1 tank" run, and this is on a 5 spd manual
with that non-OD 5th gear, 3.0 engine.
Wish they had an X1 diesel coming to the Colonies...
