Exclamation So my 4.8 reset itself last night...HELP

So a few weeks ago I posted about going infor my first service and full software update...upon picking the vehicle up my iPod was acting strange, title of track displayed was in the middle of the entire alphabetical list..no biggie..seemed to have "fixed itself" after a few days...then more strange itmes popped up....

upon start up, stereo goes back to FM..(no channels have been re-programmed so it's just static) no matter what source i have been listening to - happens one out of ten starts...

Seat and steering wheel were not moving back to my memory position..verified in I-drive, but one out of ten times no joy...

This morning, same scenario, no seat movement..FM radio (yesterday was listening to iPod)..pressed seat memory button..moved seat way forway, wheel up and forward......WTF???

Long story short - ALL I DRIVE SETTINGS HAVE BEEN RESET TO INITIAL DEFAULTS!!! Everything on the truck is back to "virgin" settings..no SAT presets, A/C temp setting back to basics, EQ, Treble/Bass, radio, display, manuevering aids...all back to presets like the day I took delivery..oddly, phone still paired in bluetooth...but that was it!

Anyone have an insight before call the dealer and try and explain this...

Today I moved the big red handle to my door and the owners manual out of the glovebox in the event she goes totally deal on me!

Sorry, should have done a more thorough search....but none of these posts reflect any problems with the electronics AFTER the service.

The truck drives much better, I have no low voltage/battery warnings, but the system completely reset itself two weeks AFTER haveing the service performed. Has anyone had anything like this (other than complete system failures shown) after having the software upgrade?

The battery in the remote is fine, and yes I have comfort access....again yesterday afternoon the car "forgot" all the audio settings again...but nothing else.

Monday morning everything was reset..suspension was even back in std mode from sport, seat memories gone...everything was gone, like the car had never had anything programmed in the iDrive, seats...the only odd thing was my iPhone was still paired via bluetooth

I was hoping someone had some experience and resolution. As it was, I had to explain the SIB's that were due to my SA as he was clueless when i took it in two weeks ago (when i asked how the key still got the vehicle information on it w/ comfort access and not being in the ignition he told me i HAD to put it into re-charge it..we then argued over the fact that the key does not re-charge in the ignition with comfort access - he insisted it did)...my fear is just dropping it off for another re-programming will not solve the problem.

This morning all was fine...but my red handle and owners manual now reside in the drivers door pocket!!!

Is it possible the second key is at the proximity when the problem occurs ? Though somewhat I'm stating the obvious here, but different keys have its own different settings. My wife's key and mine always got mixed up (we have a comfort access as well), so when it happens I just plug my key to the ignition to regain my settings back.

Nope...second key has never been used and is in the house. As the vehicle sits outside I have made sure the keys are alway far enough away so that they are not "seen" by the car when in our key holder inside as I have enough problems keeping the neighbors kid out of the car with it locked, don't need him being able to jump in at will and go with the key in the house!

The car won't start w/o the key inside the vehicle so you don't have to worry your neighbor's kids start the car...
