Bulb color help pleaseeeeee

Hey all,

I have a 2011 5.0 X5 on order- I wanted to know what color are the License plate bulbs in the back- are they yellow or hyper white like the new 3 and 5 series??

If they are yellow- then I can order LED ones- thanks for all the help!

We just picked up ours -- they aren't the Hyper white you see on Lexus, etc. My son says it's easy to get a bright white LED replacement light that plugs in...but we haven't gotten that far yet.

Don't laugh -- for some reason the color of the lighting on the rear license plate is a BIG thing among some -- maybe it's a differentiation thing? Oddly, it was one of the first things my son noticed (and he drives a MB AMG). Go figure!

i use the liscense plate lights from bimmian.com and they are the best ive used/seen
