Help with interior.. What Color With white..Opinions needed

I have decided on White..

Now which interior color.

I love black interiors, and original was to go Black Ventilated Seats...

Is the Black -White contrast to stark? Boring?

I had a Sand Beige 528i and liked it except that is shows ALL STAINS and this will be a Winter use machine. My main concern is the BEIGE carpet.

I have a Saddle with Sapphire Black 335i.. LOVE the saddle.. (black carpet)

If I go Saddle Naveda Leather, How will it look with the NAPPA dash (assuming it is Black)? The door panels in Naveda..

Is the perferated Leather going to be a problem for cleaning, dirt and liquids getting down into the small holes?

I think all color combinations work well. It's just a matter of what you want.

Black and white is stark, but you really can't beat the ability to hide stains.

All of the versions of brown/beige you list are essentially warm colours, given the undertones. White is a cool colour. Mixing warm colours and cool colours looks wrong to me.

We have black leather on an Alpine White X3, and it looks fine.

I've mentioned in another thread it's not a big deal. You can't go wrong with any combination now - picture a fox red interior vs. white or black exterior. Either is fine. Why wouldn't any interior color work with a white? It's not like we're talking space gray or platinum bronze and then a red interior here.

Go with your favorite interior now that you've decided the all-accepting white. You don't even realize any color contrast with the outside once you're sitting in the cabin anyway so don't choose based on that. Also note that some colors like saddle brown is actually 2-tone with black while others are that color straight through. Not only did I love the shade of brown, which I usually do not, the 2-tone made it sportier.

All-black interior is boring to me personally... unless I got a yellow or red car then that would be a nice contrast done on purpose.

I have black interior on my AW. I love it and easy to keep it clean and hide all the stains. I remember after one week from the date I picked up the car. My wife dropped her lipstick on the driver seat while the cover is opened and the result was left a big color mark on the leather seat. If it was light color interior i would not be able to remove as easy as black interior or just like never happend before. Plus I have two little kids jumping from front to middle and middle to third row.

All good points. For me, the outside is the outside and the inside is well, the inside. They have little to nothing to do with each other. Get what you like. I would never own another black interior ever again. Too hot in the sun. If you have kids I can appreciate the problem of a light interior. I can tolerate a little grime and marks in exchange for not getting my butt baked on a hot black seat. (BTW Goo Gone cleans that stuff up pretty nicely.)

Same for exterior. Black and dark colors get too hot in the sun.
Try putting your hand on the same spot on two cars sitting out in the sun at the dealer. You'll see how hot the dark color is while light colors (white is best but harder to keep) are much cooler. If your car will never see the summer sun, you got all your options open.

I have the Alpine White ext/Sand Beige int, and it looks great together (to me). However, that is why so many combos are available.........everybody has different tastes!

On a practical note, some of us select colors partially based on the weather in our areas. I live in a very sunny, very hot area. Cars will black interiors are like pizza ovens in our summers. If you live in a cooler area, or get to park in a parking garage all the time, you might not have that concern.

Unless you never clean your car , are a mechanic or a landscaper, then beige is not that high maintenance.... so no professional cleaner needed !!

I will go with saddle brown as RH71 has but also black offer a nice contrast with white .The best way to decide is if you go to a dealer and see by yourself all the combos!Good luck!

I always loved black interiors on white vehicles... and personally beige seems all too common and blah to me.
