I am planning to buy this aftermarket interface and a rear camera. I learned that from other X6 forum. The nice things about this is no prgroamming required by dealer (Plug and Play) and have 5 Audio inputs - 1 input dedicated to rear camera, other 4 inputs could be for ipod video to Nav screen, front camera or PS3 etc. It is control from the steering wheel and iDrive. Also, I found BMW made one called ACM unit part no.
65500441372 but costs twice as much as the aftermarket and do not provide as many functions as the aftermarket one.
I was wondering if anyone know about this aftermakret unit. My X5 does not equipped with rear camera and I want to get somethinkg that integrated with Nav screen while doing reverse and no programming required from the dealer plus extra video input for future expansion.
