Auto park brake problem

Does anyone have a issue where they press the auto park brake button and the system does not switch on? Nothing. No little green light. No light on the dash.

Then .... try it a couple of moments later, and it does switch on.

I've also experienced situations where when the car is stopped, and the auto park brake system is on. Suddenly it switches itself off, and goes into regular "park" mode.

Anyone have these same issues, or is it a trip to the dealer ?

this part is a normal safety feature... you must've shifted your weight off the seat which engages the regular parking brake. It happened to me the night of delivery as I was headed home... at a stop light and I freaked I broke the car already... it's funny now but not then.

Hmm ... I dont think so for me. I think I need to take it in and have it looked at.
