2010 x5 4.8 on the way!!!
I am a newbie to this forum. I placed an order a few weeks ago on 2010 x5. Finally, I got the VIN number on monday and the production complete date is Oct. 8.
Since I got 20' wheels, I got the tire and rim insurance at the dealer for little less than $1500 w/ unlimited times and no deductible. I am not sure I got a good deal or not. I would like to know how much the tire and rim insurance usually costs at the dealer. Thank you guys!!!!! |

![]() Welcome and congrats. I think I paid $795 for my wheel and tire insurance in Dec 2007. Not sure what it goes for now.

I paid $600.00 CDN$ for the insurance. BTW the insurance will repair the tires in the event of a puncture, but will only replace or repair the rim if the is a total loss of air due to a damaged rim. Read the fine print......or lack thereof.
