I have my fingers crossed, but I doubt my new X5 will be anywhere near the reliability of a Ford.

Anyone know how to post a Poll Question?

How many years old is your current primary automobile?

Four years old -- a 2005 Ford Focus with 57,000 miles on it. (and only one problem, a sticky throttle body off idle fixed under warranty, in those 57,000 miles).

P.S. If you want to get a surprise, test drive a Ford Focus with an automatic transmission -- the auto transmission shifts much, much better than any BMW automatic I've driven. Of course, the Focus transmission has a lot less HP to handle, which might make it easier to make a transmission that shifts well.

When you begin a new thread you have the option to make it a poll. Scroll down to the last option.

I'd even buy the 30d before the 48i, let alone the 35d. In this company the 30i doesn't even rate.

Pity you can't get an X5 with the 35i.

Well, so far it seems the re-sale value news is good on the X5 Diesel, let's all hope it continues.
