Chime in here if no mechanical issues @ or > 60k miles w/E70

I have an '09 35d @ 2k miles and can't find anything I don't like about it - I garage it and clean it more than I clean my own bottom, so it seems.

In the spirit of, "Folks with no issues don't ever say anything..," I'd like to ask if people out there have put 60k or more miles on there E70 without any mechanical issues other than replacing the wear-and-tear items like tires, shocks, fluids, etc.

So this is one of those, "How well designed/built are these E70s?" threads, if you don't mind speaking up.

I suppose this thread could also serve as a, "Tell me what went wrong with your E70" thread as well, again, if you don't mind spilling the beans about your experience. And, of course, a rough ball-park of expense to fix at the stealership or DIY....

Edited to reduce overall mileage down to reasonable......(orig was 100k)...

I don't imagine many have driven their E70 models 100,000 miles in the last three years.

The oldest someone could have an e70 is Oct '06 and I don't think anyone has put 30K miles a year for 3 years on theirs--you will have to wait a little longer for someone to chime in with 100K miles. I think the most would be at maybe 60K miles.

That makes sense...my daily driver gets 35k/yr, but it's a VW, not a BMW.

So maybe my 100k request is ambitious and should be regarded as a flexible number!

Right now I have a little over 50,000 miles on my 2008 X5. I took delivery in January 2008. So far, knock on wood, I have not had any issues except for the normal wear and tear. The only unscheduled maintenance I had was a burnt out brake light bulb last month, but I consider that wear and tear.

So far I am happy with the quality of the X5.
