I saw the BMW rear cargo mat in the BMW accessory guide. It looks Very similar to the WeatherTech mat. In any case, even the BMW cargo mat does not appear to have any cutouts or forgiveness for the BMW cargo tracks.

Anyone have any comments on the BMW OEM floor liners vs. the Weathertech liners? They're about the same price, so cost isn't a factor.

BMW liner has the cutouts for the in-floor hooks (the one which slide on the rails), but no cutouts for the rails.

Not sure about weathertech.

Took delivery of my 2010 X5d last night. More posts and pictures to trickle.

First time I have ever (10 years) been disappointed with WeatherTech mats. They are clearly not fitted as well as the OME carpeted mats. They seem generic and I really like the cargo guide rails with D-hooks that will be covered by the mat. The latter is not WeatherTechs fault but the fit of the first two rows is rather dissapointing....

Some "real life" pics (as oppposed to catelog pics) of the BMW and Weathertech rubber mats would be nice to see.

I have WeatherTech in both rows plus cargo area. I've used their product in my two previous SUVs, and have never tried BMW's liners.

I only had an issue with the driver's side in terms of fit, and needed a couple of extra velcro hook discs to grip the carpet firmly enough for my pedal foot.

Will post a real life photo.

I received the BMW carpeted mats (180) with the X5. The fit of those mats greatly exceeds the WeatherTech Mats in area covered and conformity of shape, particularly the second row... I think I am going to cut out my cargo mat for the D-Rings as there is a raised area in the mat shaped in a D.

Now I need to figure out how to upload pictures...

I purchased the BMW OEM all-weather liners for front & second row seats. I'm also having a clear bra (covering entire hood, bumper, front fenders, mirrors, inside door handles) installed tomorrow. When they finish the clear bra they are going to wash/vacuum the car and install the liners. I'll post impressions & pics this weekend.

We also purchased (ordered) a rear cargo area liner for the dogs. That should come in next week (yes, pic is of an X3).
