Keyless Go ----> Keys Locked in Car

Anyone every experience this?

My wife yesterday was using my car while I was at work with her GL550. She put her car keys to the X5 in her shoulder bag and put the bag in the backseat of the car. The car did recognize the keys in her bag and unlocked as soon as she grabbed the rear door handle. As soon as she closed the door, the doors locked by themselves. She dosent recall closing the door by the door handle which has the little sensor for locking the doors but Im suspecting thats what happened. Nonetheless... the car is supposed to reconginze if the keys are in the car and not lock from the outside. Has this happened to anyone?
