Hot garage.

get the heated seats, no matter your climate.
1) why get such a beautiful car without?
2) when you're borrowing dad's car for a hot date.

A friend of mine loves the heated seats, as it actually seems to help her sore back. She often uses them when it's 70-75 degrees out.

Back in the day, on the first car that I owned with heated seats, I accidentally hit the heated seat button unknowingly. About 5 minutes later I pulled off the road in a panic because I thought that I had pissed myself.

Not sure what my wife would say if i took a girl out in the X!
My dad is just happy with the sports seats in it. He just doesn't want them. Plenty of time to change his mind about it though

I would change your M3 order to manual ...that M-DCT gearbox is horrid. I lived with the thing for a year and it drove me nuts. BMW still release's software patches to fix the thing.

The M-DCT is terrible in town but acceptable out of it, but manual is best everywhere and the only choice. If your mum can't drive a manual, let her drive the X and tell your dad he has to drive the M3 ... but as a manual.
