2010 x35d - reading lights
Just picked up my x35d that I ordered exactly a month ago. A post on initial impressions to follow shortly, but I want to clear something up that bothers me a bit.

For the map/reading lights, both front and rear, the bulbs are recessed in small domes which look like they should have lens covers, glass or plastic. Those lens covers are missing, and I can actually touch the bulb.

Is this supposed to be this way and I am simply hallucinating that there should be lenses/covers of some sort?
