Found horsepower and torque for X5 diesel

Any Diesel guys out there interested in going from 286 bhp to near 390 bhp
and ridiculous torque. I just found a UK company that looks like what I am going to implement into my X5 after my break in period. Spoke to my boat mechanic yesterday told me that the engine will run smoother and better gas mileage (if you dont step into it) but with more horses than BMW wants you to have! He has a duramax diesel 6.6 liter with bullydog program that has three settings calm, fast, scarry. He tows massive boats with that diesel and has over a 110,000 miles still running smooth. Went for a ride with him and was not BMW luxury but damn fast! I will provide more info whoever wants it.

The U.S.A. version only has 265 HP. I would think an upgrade would void your factory warranty...

Let us know what you come up with. I'm leaving mine stock... We also have the urea injection that they don't use in Europe. I would do my homework before ordering...

Good luck!

Craig

BMW always under rates their turbo hp. They did so with the release of my 2007 335i they said it was 300 hp more like 330 if you do some reading. Good point about the urea, from my research so far this urea may be used faster if fuel is supplied quicker will keep an extra bottle of it in the trunk. My service director is pretty straight with me after him seeing me go through tuned M3's and 335i turbo. Stay tuned......

name of the company found is chipexpress.com. Just north of London. Going to have a friend of mine in London head up that way and check it out for me and do some research
as well.

I'd wait for Dinan to release a reflash for diesels to keep some modicum of warranty.

Dinan is no longer warranted by BMW USA to my understanding. There is alot of gray area you would have to go through anyway. You would have to do some lookups on that issue as well. My friends and I use active autowerks in miami those guys blow dinan away......

In that case, I wouldn't do a reflash until the factory warranty is up. A LOT of stuff would get voided as a result of something like this if they found out.
