Transmission Software Update Performed = Lousy Mileage

I had my transmission software updated in late-September. While I can say the driveability has been greatly improved, my gas mileage has been abyssmal to say the least. I went from getting 15 to 18 mpg down to 10 or so. I only get about 200 to 210 miles per tank. Granted I'm heavy in the foot and do mostly city driving, but that was the case prior to the reprogram.

Anyone else run into this?

what mpg are you getting on a 3.0? I thought the fix was for the 4.8 jerkiness. Did it also improve your ride quality elvism?

actually i just called the dealer to see what was done

to my X.. they told me that i didnt get the DMT done...that i needed it...why then did they put it on my invoice.. idiots!!.. they tell me its a fuel emission recall and something to do with check engine light... i noticed my mileage was around 14.7 city but normally around 16-17...highway 20-22...just seems less lately. dealer also told me the the fuel addictives are different this time of year..take my X in for 2 year check up in 2 weeks...

I have a 3.0 single turbo 2007 diesel.. when i got the battery replaced about 2 months back they said they reprogrammed the car... My fuel consumption is now worse than ever and the car seems to "hold" gear for a lot longer like I was in sport mode but I am not...

my 3.0D does this too from time to time, no software updates were performed
I noticed that when she does this, redlining it a few times through the first 3 gears solves the problem
