Check your battery voltage.
One other possibility for an alarm... The X5 has an interior motion sensor. The other night my alarm went off for no reason, or so I though. I later figured-out that the windshield heat reflector I use had fallen, and I suspect the motion set it off. |

Sounds like a problem with the battery or cables.

Does anyone else have issues with the factory alarm going off on it's own? Lately I've noticed mine has been going off a little bit more when it's parked, windows up, and sporadically. I read on the e53 x5, the issue was usually the hood pin. I can't seem to locate the one on the e70. Does it have something to do with the clasp?
