Alarm Goes Off For No Reason, Now All Memory Settings Gone

What happened? Alarm went off last night (thought it was someone else's). Wife told me today all her radio settings, seat settings and memory buttons settings are gone.

???

Check your battery voltage.

One other possibility for an alarm... The X5 has an interior motion sensor. The other night my alarm went off for no reason, or so I though. I later figured-out that the windshield heat reflector I use had fallen, and I suspect the motion set it off.

Sounds like a problem with the battery or cables.

Does anyone else have issues with the factory alarm going off on it's own? Lately I've noticed mine has been going off a little bit more when it's parked, windows up, and sporadically. I read on the e53 x5, the issue was usually the hood pin. I can't seem to locate the one on the e70. Does it have something to do with the clasp?

Suggestions?
