Question hmm ..... so no sunglass holder/compartment in X5 ???

I never observed until today when I tried to place my sunglasses.
I thought of asking the CA during test drive and some how I missed it.

Wise people, shed some light here with how you manage with ur sunglasses.

cmyX6go will become famous soon enough
Believe it or not, there are quite a few threads here on the subject. Some use the ash tray, others have visor clips. I just put them in their case and keep them in the center console.

L is right, there are a couple of threads on this

I removed the plastic ashtray "liner"; lined that space with black felt and now my sunglasses can fit in there. No case needed; they're out of the way; and they don't get scratched.

And to the detractors of mods for sunglasses; just ignore the thread if you're not interested. I have to wear prescription sunglasses for driving. They are expensive, so they need to be protected, and they have to be conveniently located.

The Volvo options are kind of interesting IMHO, get them before GM or Ford or whoever the hell owns Volvo kills the brand a la Saab.

If BMW can offer a heads up display and multi contour seats you would think they could engineer a place to store sunglasses and coins. Not everyone appreciates ipod integration and6 Cd changers. But many use sunglasses and coins on a daily basis.
It is odd in this day and age that a Smoking delete is not offered.

Actually some models in North America now can no longer be equipped with the cancer (smoker) package.

I put my sunglasses in their hard cases and usually store in either the center console or glove box. If there was a designated sunglass holder it would be useless to me...
