Backrest storage Pocket

Has anyone bought this item (Backrest Storage Pocket: PN: 52 12 0 410 752) or seen it in person?

I'm looking into getting a "kickmat" to protect my seat from my kid. Saw this and thought it might be cool to have additional storage also.

Just wanted some real life feedback as my parts guy says it's "special order" at their dealership.

Just asking cuz sometimes real life experiences make a huge difference. I wish someone told me useless the "Storage Compartment Module" (PN: 72 60 0 153 335) was. I bought it. It installed easy enough. But was not good to use. The compartments are really small and actually wouldn't open properly. I thought it was a defect and had it replaced with another one, but same thing. Does not work.

I had one and is useful for my family since we have a 5 month old girl and my wife is always with her in the back seat.

Thanks.

Sounds like it's a normal product and no surprises.

Thanks for the suggesiton alexmish. I think I saw another member (genemish.. any relation?) suggest that one too.

The BMW one attracts me due to all the different storage pockets. But I'm definitely not fond of the price (9-10x the cost of the one you suggested!). Absolutely love the price on the Sunshin Kids Stuff N Scuff. Just wished it offered a few extra pockets.

Before I even drove my 35D off the lot last month I bought and installed two of the BMW backrest storage pockets for the kids. Very handy. They attach to the front seats both at the top and the bottom so they're not swinging around.

Thanks for the pics!

Btw, what are those two horizontal plastic looking tube things used for?

Yeah, genemish is my bro

The BMW backrest protectors are more for storage than just keeping the back clean... The more pockets you'll give them, the more "must-have stuff" you'll end up having there... I like my car clean and uncluttered.

I've been using a product from Rover Gear and it's been working great so far. It provides a bit more coverage from kicking kids but there are no storage pockets. I posted a picture of the seat back protector installed on my X5 about a month ago.
