Unhappy 2010 X5 35D - Side bolsters on comfort seats not working

Side bolsters on comfort seats stopped working on my 1 month old 35D.
I noticed it this morning.
Normally I feel them moving when I lean my back.
I had been busy whole week and didn't notice.
Today I got some time and and tried to adjust the seats.
Side bolsters didn't respond.

Have to call the dealer now.
This should be covered under warranty, right?

Yes, that would be warranty work.

I had mine repaired on a e92 and it was a ton of work. They had to replace the pump under the seat and the wire harness because it kept shorting out. If you had a pump fail so quickly, I bet there is a short in the system as well.

Every thing else working on the seats except the side bolsters.
If there is a short in the system, everything should go off, right?

Any way got an appointment for saturday.

No, everything worked except the bolsters. It even made a clicking sound when I would push the button, but nothing would happen. Good luck. I'm sure the SA will sort it out.

Mine broke in one week... They replaced the entire back.. Mine is a late October production. Wonder if there is a bad lot? I leaned over to the passenger seat and "POP" they fell flat.

Shop had to keep the truck for a weekend... while the part was shipped in.. for Monday repair
Working fine now.. wonder about long term
