Not a bad deal considering it is a cpo. I would consider this a fair price.

FYI, A base 2010 x5 is $44K invoice... people usually pay $1k over invoice.

Premium Pack & Leather...$3100.

Does that really have a NAV? It looks like just idrive....

Its really up to you to say if its a good deal...

17000 miles seems like a lot.

There's no NAV in that. Look closely at the power on pics and the size of the screen.

Well he said it was "similar" to that... no running boards like his either. Why not post the actual one? We won't steal it.

That car will be an okay deal at 35K. At 40K its far from a deal

17k mileage is nothing, for a car that will last for years. You can buy an extended BMW warranty and be set to 100k miles. You can also buy the extended maintenance package and also have that extended to 100k miles.

See if you can work in a warranty @ $40k. It's not a bad deal, in my opinion. X5s hold their value quite well.

These really are the best SUVs in their class. The blow the Mercedes products out of the water, in nearly every regard.

I say go for it, if you're not going to buy used. I see no reason to avoid the deal.

^ BMW extended warranty will go to 100k miles? What about total number of years (because I do little mileage)? I believe the extended only goes 2 more years (total of 6 years). Those 2 extra years for a ballpark of $2k didn't seem worth it. Outside companies like warranty direct was also up there. How easy and often do people spend $2k on repairs on these things - I know some parts are really expensive but what are the chances of those specifically going bad rather than lesser parts? Honest question.

I guess I'll wait till near the end of the 4 years and see what sort of things go wrong.

Other thing - anyone know how much the annual maintenance costs out of pocket after the 4 years?
