Question Width of Rear Side Window...

Hey Guys.... We're one step closer to the new Xoutpost.com stickers. Can someone let me know how wide E70's the rear side window is? I know it's significantly shorter than the E53's, so I don't want to have the stickers be too long!

Exactly which rear side are you referring to? Above the rear handles or back at the 3rd row for these stickers? Guessing along the bottom of the 3rd row area?

22 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

EDIT>> took a few measurements... if it's the very bottom of the 3rd row window, there's a BMW Sekurit sticker in the way, right after the dot matrix stuff I'm sure you don't want to stick over. You only have 4in. of clear window beside the BMW Sekurit sticker. If you overlap or place it just above, it's a total of 6in. The lengthiest part of that window (higher up) is 9in. (again within the dot matrix stuff).

I measured along the bottom edge of the cargo space window. To the begining of the Hofmeister kink is about 9" (just where it starts to bend along the bottom edge).

Hope that's what you needed.....

See where the sticker is on my E53? I need the measurement of the bottom of that window.

8 7/8" at the very bottom where it is perfectly straight. The upward slant at the back is quite gradual, e.g., if you measure an inch up from the bottom gasket edge it is 11".

Sweet. I was hoping to make the stickers 8" so that I can mail them in standard envelopes.
