OEM Hitch for 2009 - what is included?

Just had the BMW OEM Hitch installed on my 2009 X5. the dealer tells me that the kit does not include the end cap and the tube that plugs in the wiring hole to convert to a 5 or 7 pin flat plug. Is this correct? Did anyone receive these items?

Thanks!

We received both the rubber BMW end cap and the tube shaped wiring converter from the RV style 7 wire plug to a utility trailer style 5 pin flat plug. The receiver tube and ball are sold separately.

Thanks everyone! The parts guy swore to me that those two items are not included. I got the shop foreman out and he thought they were normally included and was surprised that they were not in my car (the dealer installed the hitch). He went into the back and opened a new kit and guess what, they were in that box. I guess I should not be surprised, this is the same parts guy that told me that "BMW would never cut a bumper on an X5 to install a hitch", he was of course wrong! I don't understand, when someone does not know something, why insist that they are right?? If you are not sure, go check the computer or ask someone! Sheesh!

The end cap is so loose that it was obvious that it would be lost shortly. I just put one wrap of friction tape inside the hitch receiver and put the cap in, and that has held the cap with no looseness for a year.

I pushed a golf wiffle(?) ball into the plug to keep a tight fit.

On my 08, parts had to supply a plastic module carrier that
is mounted behind the right rear panel to hold the lighting module.
It's not part of the kit.

Can I extend the original question on this thread and ask what are the additional capabilities and changes made to vehicles with the OEM hitch installed?
From what I have read the following changes may be made to vehicle:

1) rear camera zoom view onto hitch
2) rear PDC is turned off when a trailer is plugged in
3) software changes are made to the stability control

Is the above list correct - what else have I missed?
