Paint the black plastic trim Titan silver??..

I am thinking about painting the black plastic trim on my Titanium silver E70, in silver. The problem is that I havent seen any pictures of silver, or white cars that has been painted down.

Does anyone have a picture of a painted down E70 with aerodynamic kit?

What do you think would be best? Original black, or titanium silver?

I am going to lower the car 1", and put 22" wheels on her also.

Def do it! It will probably cost you about 1500 or so at a good shop for the whole thing..

I would leave the window surrounds, get an all black kidney grill and do the rest.

Leave it and tint the tail lamps. You've got a nice silver/black theme going there.
Oh and tint the reflectors in the back bumper cover, and also the side turn signals!

Why paint at all if you're just going to paint black over the black plastic?

If it were me, I wouldn't do anything. Your X5 looks really nice the way it is now. The aero kit hides most of the plastic and leaves a nice contrasting color.

If I`ll paint it, it will be Titanium silver. If I decide to have it black, I will leave it like it is.

I think it looks very nice with the aero kit installed. I'd up in the air though. It would look very nice with the black bumper covers and wheel wheels painted to match.

Then again, your contrast would be gone and one might not notice the aero kit.

I'd be inclined to leave it as is, simply because it's already extremely nice. That is to say, I'm not sure it would add anything to the car, and it might take away from some of what's making the vehicle look "aggressive and sport," which to me is the contrast.

Sometimes painting everything silver, with the aero kit, makes an X5 look like an X3, which is arguably more sporty in appearance, but it's just not as classy.

very nice.... I would leave it as is. The black gives it a nice accent. Why do you have only one side badge?
