I took delivery of my 35d 12/29 and received the carpeted mats. The dealer also included a set of all-weather mats as well. I don't buy the relationship to Toyota. The gas pedal being hinged at the floor prevents anything from wedging under it.

You can get the for $120 shipped, not close to $300.

My December delivery included them and I bought a set from someone off EBay. Link below

Mine came with the carpeted floor mats back in late November when I picked up my x535d. I was at the dealer a couple of weeks back and witnessed a service guy stop by the parts department to pick up a new set of floor mats for a customer (not sure what kind of BMW.)

I suspect he is lying, just covering their failure to fill the order.

Tell him his "all 5s" rests on either a call from the BMW district rep explaining the situation, or a fed ex with the mats arriving by the end of the week.

Carpeted BMW mats are 120 for the set.

Thanks all for the link to the $120 mats and the info. I was under the false impression they were much higher.

$120 is not the end of the world, I suppose I'll order the set, after one last attempt.

I wonder if there are any real penalties to a bad review, given that the salesman has been there for some years.

Then again, that's all the more reason not to drop the ball, return the calls, and provide the mats.

Anyway, thanks again for the info and the ebay link!

I believe floor mats have not been included in BMW cars for a while (I could be wrong). It's up to the dealer/sales to provide them (at their cost and discretion). Next time make sure that they are part of the deal and have them put it in writing before you sign any papers. I had them give me a "Due Bill" since they claimed that they were out of stock when I was getting my car.

Definitely put it on a survey and maybe even write the dealership to let them know how displeased you are with them and how the just lost any future business from you (or your friends who you will tell of such a poor dealership). Who knows, maybe someone will do something about making you happy, if not at least you know you did your best to have the issue resolved.

They aren't included in the purchase. I asked for the all weather mats instead of the carpet mats. You can't put the all weather mats on top of the carpet mats, so I had no need for 2 sets.

Have you looked at the all weather mats?

I just got my 335xi 3 weeks ago, it came WITHOUT floor mats from the factory, but dealership added them for no fee for me.
