I would go with the all weather mats, but I live in the Midwest. They're nice even in the rain. I have black interior...

As far as I know, mats don't come with the car. At least BMW doesn't supply the mats. The dealers have always thrown them in at delivery...

^^BMW and some other companies like Mercedes do NOT offer FREE OEM mats. as someone mentioned above it is to the discretion of the sales advisor to include them with your vehicle purchase. i had to buy my own set for my '08 335i coupe 2 yrs ago.

Sounds like a good idea. Once you get the all weather mats, I doubt you will even want the carpet mats. They're much easier to clean. I have them in my Lexus LS 460 as well. I never use the carpet mats that came with it.

It does not rain very much in San Diego near the coast where I live so I prefer the carpet mats. They still do OK for the times when I go snow skiing as I just brush out most of the snow when needed. They are not really very hard to clean.

If one does an online "build", on almost any regular car brand, "mats"
will almost always show as an "option"...however, in decades of getting
new cars, I have never had a new car delivered without the real oe mats,
though that cost may have been buried somewhere in the process.

It seems to me it is really cheapazz and bean counting bs however, for
a mfg'r/dlr to expect one to cough up a hundred or more for carpeted floor
mats in a $70G+ car.

Like the airlines, steering wheels, tires, etc., will be cost add-ons in the future.

No, I don't know what you mean? You think a BMW is too good to be out in all the weather?

Stupid remark!

What I heard from my SA is that cars typically dont come with mats, as those mats are big profit maker for some "southern dealerships"... (exactly the words)... My dealer likes to keep customers happy and throws them in for free (or make included in the purchase price somehow)
