They are not included in the BMW NA MSRP price. As to whether or not your dealer tosses them into the deal automatically so that it is "included" in net price form your dealer, that depends entirely on the dealer. My dealer also gave me a nice boxed set of stainless etched key rings/fobs with their logo, but I wouldn't characterize that as saying they were included in the price....

recived my X5 4.8 but still in the dealer ( painting the rims) they add floor mats for free
i think ur sales man is just trying to get out of it

Carpeted mats came in my 2010 X5 35D from the factory as did all of the same model and year that my dealer received. They were going to charge me for mats because they did not know that the X5 would come with them. They took the price of the mats off of the price that we had agreed upon.

Just bought a 328 for a friend from my salesman and he has to order mats for her 328. He says the backorder excuse was that BMW could not get the yarn and material from their supplier for some reason. He says they are released now and should be in on Tuesday.

I doesn't matter, Lexus doesn't have a GX in the country with what I want on it and color I want.
