sorry, i might have missed it on your thread, but how much are those LUX H8s? have you tried comparing them side by side to GP Thunders?

Sorry to burst ur bubble... but 2011 is definitely not lite up by led ring. They are led on the bottom. Look at the picture...

Not a problem. I no longer has the GP thunder. I am prob the first guy using the GP thunder 3 years ago on my E92 Coupe. GP Thunder has a tint of blue/Purple hue to it.... no matter that kind of halogen bulb you tried, they will never have the same white color produce by LED. GP thunder might be a bit more bright..

PRice for LED is around $225. But, all LED solution cost around that price for H8.

I would like to see real-life pics of these bright halo rings when the low beams are on at the same time. It may or may not be a bit too much. Should be interesting.

rh71, are you not satisfied with your GP Thunders?

im thinking of getting the GP Thunders instead since the price difference is huge...

I do like the GP Thunders, but was just wondering what it would look like it both were bright white at the same time. Anyway, what I'm still looking for is a better camera!

That was the picture...the bottom of the AE is VERY different from my 2008's. Guess we'll all see once some of the 2011's hit the road...

They've changed the turn signal as well to hide the bulb .. good thinking.. looks like independent lighting for the 2 rings which is good.. more than probably a led bulb but maybe not...
