Question X5 E70 with Aero kit - Question

Hello everyone. A while back I saw a picture of an X5 with mud flaps and the areodynamic kit. I am hoping someone can help me find it.

The problem is I just installed the aero kit and had to remove my rear mud flaps for now. They need to be slightly modified to get them back on and I need to figure out what is the way to do it.

Thank you for the help.

I think you will have to buy a new set of mud flaps that are able to adapt with the aerokit. getBMWparts.com powered by Tischer BMW - Your #1 Source for all OEM BMW Parts/Accessories!

under the pull down menu for the mud flaps they have different styles with and without aerokit.

Hope this helps,

- DaRip

Thanks DaRip. It seems that there is an option for the 20 & 21" wheels, but not the 18 & 19" wheels. I have the 19" wheels.

I think I can trim the mud flap, but hoping to find someone that has already done the mod.

Unless you install the wheel flares, then you can install the 20 and 21" mud flaps.

Thanks for the idea, but no. This has already cost enough $$ and spending more is not an option for us. I will make these flaps work and post a picture of the X when it is all done.

Hi Kirkinner,

Please could you share some info on your aero kit fit with the mud flaps, I'm going to be fitting the kit in the next month or so and have the same setup as you, 19" and non flared arches, what mod did you need to do to the flaps?

Cheers
Chris
