Another 35d intro

Picked it up thursday night, 2010 (sport, prem, exec, nav, prem sound, rear dvd, 3rd row. No tech in Canada) saphire black on black nevada. I traded in my 07 4.8is saphire black on saddle. I have to say that so far it has exceeded my expectations, like many going from the 4.8 I wasn't sure how the transition would be and if I'd be left wanting more. Although the characteristics of the 35d are totally different, I love the torque, effortless acceleration and so far with only a few hundred km's the mileage seems far far better. I've ordered my flares since I kept my 124's from my 07 and am trying to source a good deal on 4.8 tips. I'm on the fence about lowering it, Im not sure if the 19" michelins feel as stable as the 19" bridgestones I had on my 07 for winter use. I guess I'll wait and see how it feels with the 124's in the coming weeks. I also have to say, the premium sound isn't something I'd generally go for but it was the only black/black sport the dealer had and now I have to say so far I am impressed it blows my 07's sound package away. I am looking forward to doing a few road trips and putting some miles on it.

Sorry for the massive image I've yet to upload anything to flickr.

Congrats! Stunning looking ride... Sapphire black with black nevada (which is exactly what I have on mine...) is an excellent color combo. Oh and I wouldn't buy a BMW without premium sound. Their regular audio package sucks and most people probably don't realize that until they hear the premium sound.
