The climate here is around 73 F or 23 C, not using A/C at the moment.
What I've noticed is that while driving around for only about 20-30 minutes during evenings (it's worse when it's light out), I can hear a real loud radiator fan working frequently (It's very loud. From inside the cabin I thought it was coming from some other old vehicle sitting next in traffic).
The heat shouldn't be that bad in the engine. It was city-driving, but not much traffic around. And no A/C turned on. How is it gonna deal with the real heat when summer hits. I don't want it to get overheated too easily due to a faulty cooling system.
For a 3.0 gasoline engine is this normal? I was worried there might be something wrong with the cooling system. I don't think the coolant is low.
At times like this I really wish the X5 had an engine temperature gauge.
