Oh, btw, the album art capabilities requires that you use your iphone, ipod with the original Apple USB to dock connector and not the Y-cable.

This doc was written back in late 2009 before the X5 LCI was announced.

"The use of the genuine Apple iPod USB cable is supported only in the 3-Series Coupé, 3-Series Con- vertible and 7-Series models manufactured 03/2010 or later. Display of CoverArts is supported when the genuine Apple iPod USB cable is used"

Its possible this feature is available on the LCI X5 (from March 2010 onwards). Worth looking at.

Do you know if this iDrive update removes the limit of 1000 phonebook contacts? I am still looking for a solution for this.
