E70 Window Trim Removal

Hi All,

I have the chrome/aluminum window trim. I'm trying to wrap these black. Any tips on removing it? I can't do a very good job on them while its on the car. Thanks in advance.

Mike

Why don't you try the plasti-dip stuff everyone has been using. Just tape and spray. If you don't like - peel and remove. Just an idea.

I have a bottle of plasti dip but the results didn't come out very well.

I have helped a friend on a different model - who used a vinyl tape/wrap. removing the lower piece as you did was the easy part. Removing the the top part required remove the large black piece close to the B pillard and there were screws behind it. Then he did the best he could with the wrap aroudn the little window.
