Replace normal heated steering wheel with sport heated steering wheel?
If so, was it straight-forward? Did the old airbag module fit the sport steering wheel? I did a search but couldn't find a conclusive answer. I also did see a thread outlining the procedure. If anyone has a link, I'd appreciate it. Going to pick up the 2011 X5 35d tomorrow.

I did find a thread on Bimmerfest that states that the air bag is not compatible. I guess the new question is, since you can buy the outer airbag cover as well (that houses the airbag), will the old standard steering wheel airbag fit into the sport steering wheel outer airbag cover? REaloem doesn't have it broken down that far.
It may be totally no worth the cost but I'm just checking and appreciate any response.
