2010 x35d issue with passenger door closing

I have over 8K+ miles on it, this happened to me for the second time in less than a week. Could not get my passenger door to close...some reason the it would not latch...has anyone else run into similar issue? maybe something triggers it....but it starts working after sometime ...still have not figured out how it starts working again.

I assume you'd slam it and it just bounces open with a 'thunk'??

Next time it happens, shoot a video with your cell phone... when you take it to the dealer, hand them a CD with the video clip saved as an mpg.

That way you will not get the dreaded "Could Not Duplicate".

^ you could also show them as a video on your phone (if possible) when you bring it in and the SA will mark it down as "verified" and they will have to fix it. Just did that with my random dark idrive issue.
