I'm seeing the same thing. Just took a road trip (~400 miles) at an average speed of ~70 mph and got 29.4 mpg. Mostly flat both ways. |

Portland to Vancouver BC 700 miles
Highway was 30 MPG at 60mph but 26-27 at 70-75 MPH. My overall trip was close to 26 MPG and that included one hour at idle at the boarder.
My 07 4.8 was 18 MPG on the Higway or so but in city way worse. For a SUV it is great. It even seems to get up hills better that the old 4.8 without downshifting looking for RPMs. |
