Tech Package Price Higher on 35d vs. 35i?

I've found a few online resources that give the Tech Package Pricing for 35d as follows:
Invoice: $2,550
MSRP: $2,800

My CA says that on 35d, the Tech Package is actually higher, though I don't know why it seems like they include the same things. He is saying that the pricing for Tech Package on 35d is:
Invoice: $2,820
MSRP: $3,100

Can someone who recently bought a 35d with tech let me know?
