Countermeasures like V1 and RL but what about Veil?

I've been a V1 user for years and all was well for 20 years until VASCAR bit me even while also running a cb.

So for my 4K tour that starts later this month, I will be running both the V1 and a RL despite all the warnings of interference. I did this as a trial in December and the benefits for me were better than any problems.

However, some areas in this trip are also know for laser so I was thinking about Veil. Note the video at Veil Anti Laser Stealth Coating - Laser Jammers at Radar Busters

Anyone have any experience with this to know if one encounters problems with this getting on the paint? My 2008 X5 is gray and being a high profile vehicle makes for a good target but I don't have a front license plate.

Go with a laser jammer- they actually work.

The veil product is a scam. (It may reduce the backscatter, but not enough to give you any realistic protection...)

They do a masterful job of saturating the web with positive to 'neutral' reviews (ie the "couldn't hurt if you use it with a jammer" type of recommendations...)

I installed a Laser Interceptor jammer. I think it's the best jammer for the price. Check this post for info about my installation.

What the hell is VASCAR? Is your 1st sentence in English.

What you need is the Laser Interceptor. Get it here, and do it quickly...

Indeed it is. Are you American? If so, you must be a youngish pup.

CB is citizen band radio. VASCAR is a known acronym for folks that have been around..since maybe CBs were popular

I gues you really do learn something everyday! I never knew that system had an acronym! But WTHWIKA given EIMSL not to mention a raging case of BPH. Anyway, hit the group buy before it's too late. It already officially ended, but the rep is a great guy and might be able to extend it for you.

Go with laser jammer. Everything else is crap. I have used several laser jammers and have finally settled on Laser Interceptor.

Not much you can do about VASCAR. I have received several tickets with VASCAR being used in a plane, helicopter and on-ramp.

It is better to be lucky than good.
