Difference in price between 2007 and 2008; Assuming all else equal?

As some of you know, I recently was involved in a car crash which (thankfully, as it turns out) ended up being a total loss. I am now in the market for another X5. The X5 that was totaled was a 2007. I found another X5 with the exact same features but was a 2008 (and similar miles). How much of a premium should I expect with one year difference in price. The dealer's starting price is somewhat higher than I expected, but am hoping there is significant room to maneuver.

I'm going to take a stab at 4-5-6k delta for one year, all other things being equal.

The longer time goes on, the lower the delta.
