When we say that bmw's are marked up around 8% over invoice are we talking options included or just off the base price? For instance if my 2011 x5 is stickered for 75k can I assume invoice is 75k - 6k =69k? TIA

"Invoice" is a bit fuzzy since dealers add some other costs on top of what Edmunds calls the factory invoicing. Most will charge costs for advertising, training, and sometimes prep.
