Issue with Driver side window switches and driver side mirror
So I noticed that I cannot lock the windows from rolling down on the other doors, the windows also will not roll down from this panel and my mirrors will not auto fold. I also noticed that my left mirror does not dim either but the other one does. I've been searching and thought about fuses but it sounds like it could be the window panel system switch? I tried looking at the fuses and could barely get the damn fuse box down to even look at it (it wouldn't pull down enough to even see the whole thing..) Any thoughts on what I should do? This is on an 07 4.8 |

I have the same problem on my 40d... its to do with a module failure, the whole module has to be replaced (costs around €500) I don't know the part numbers, my mechanic has ordered it.

a faulty FRM module should not cause this. Since your issues relate only to the driver window switch, and you are not getting any dimming function to work, you should start with disconnecting the drivers mirror motor. See if the switch comes back to life.

I'll try that, I assume that means I need to take the door panel off correct?
I'll have to find time to do that and or figure out how to take the panel off (shouldn't be hard, just a bit time consuming) |
