Someone on the Z4 just reported the same issue. He used the key fob in the slot and cycled the car off and on a few times. The windows worked again.

Got into my car an hr later and the problem fixed itself. Glad it is fixed but it seems so landrover haha I did have a couple instances of blacnk nav screen on my 07 come to think of it. O well still luv my x!
