For that price, that's not an option for me! Heck, that's what also makes the X5M/X6M look like a good deal. When you take into account that a loaded X5 4.8i will cost you $75k, for $20k more you can get something with a bunch more power AND a warranty, that's a Great deal!

I'd do that before spending $22k on a blower that only makes 95 bhp (that's not even to the wheels, which to me is Weak). I figured it this way, with the blower, it comes out to $231.57 dollars per hp ($22k/95, not such a Great deal), but with the X5/6M, it comes out to $162.16 per hp WITH a warranty ($90k/555. This taking into account you bought a slightly used X5/6M in the $90k range which can be found). Just my .02 and you get what you pay for!

I am not suggesting in any way that $22k is worth it. I think that it is ridiculous, as I said in my post. But I also think that carrying on suggesting Dinan and Vortech alternatives when in fact they don't make anything for the OP's 4.8 is distracting and a waste.

Ok, No one is carrying on suggesting it, i think I mentioned vortech once to the OP and suggested that he see if they done a supercharger for his X5, then me and freddy spoke to eachother about our previous cars with these superchargers.....end of!
