Newbe

been lurking for a few days and really like this forum. picked up a 2007 x5 4.8 a couple of weeks ago and i'm loving it. looked for a while and finally found a beautiful cpo with only 19k miles. i'll get pics up soon.

can't be a newbe without asking a dumb question, so here goes:

before i took delivery of the x, i searched this board and learned quite a bit about some minor but persistent problems with the e70. thanks to you guys i was able to have the dealer resolve these items prior to pick-up (nav dvd drive replaced, rear hatch trim replaced, glove box trim replaced, etc.).

additionally, i requested that they update the software to the latest version to cover all outstanding tsb's. they claimed that they did but how can i verify that the dealer actually upgraded the x to the latest software? is there a screen in idrive that gives me the version? and before i'm flamed, i did a search but couldn't find an answer...

thanks in advance.
