OFFICIAL! signed! 2007 X5 4.8!

GOT IT!!! I hope it was a good deal. It seemed fair....fair enough.

It had everything I wanted but sports package. We were not willing to do the 20" wheels so figured sport was not SUPER important since the main thrill would have been those GREAT rims on the 20". It did have the "sport seats" though which was a biggie for me. I will miss that neat silver strip on the steering wheel but ......
Back up camera, DVD (tech pac), prem pac, upgrade Dolby sound w/7 disk changer...premium package, cold weather pac, rear climate pac....what else? New tires (guess all CPO'ed have new tires), NO third row (to leave option for us to put on regular tires later)..space saver spare......Alpine White (my first choice) with black leather (wanted saddle but that would have been impossible to find I think in 2007).....NEW condition. Not one door ping that I saw.....comfort access...and nav. Guess it is loaded minus Sport (but has the seats)...

43K miles.....

Afraid to say price bc it was more than my walllet could hold. I will just say it seemed fair for my area and I dont feel I got ripped off. Instead of putting down all of our money (we had MOST in cash and planned to pay all cash) we opted for the .09% loan/24 mo. for half the X--will keep our $ in the bank ---and pay monthy with the money. $20K in 24 months was $100 bucks in interest. Nothing to get excited about.

Well! I am SUPER excited!! No running boards...that was a big negative BUT I figured just add them later. Saw some on Ebay? Anybody know of they are crap??? Tisher BMW has the kit for $700 OUCH.

grats, sorry you couldn't find the saddle... it's too nice for someone to give up probably.

Oh and I hope you don't plan to put in those new running boards on your own... quite a few things need to come out. Have you had a chance to use them on another E70? THey are quite a reach and may not be practical for everyday use.

Was this one at Tischer? I think I actually test drove this one a week or two ago. Great ride!

Hello!! LOL! Pics to come.....dealer still has the car. Major storm in area and the computers were crashed/etc. No joke. One spot needed tuched up on the paint also....They could not do the paper by hand or something like that. Just gave $500 deposit. SUCKED to leave with out the X but it needed a spot touched up anyway and they said they would re-detail it.....Looks like your average white X 4.8 Nothing special changed on it (YET!!). Not even the blingy nice 20" but we decided that was not for our "family" needs at this moment (newborn and 3 yr old). Growing up stinks!

BD3500 -small world!!!!! Nope, not at Tischer...VOB. Close! I did see one at Tischer and was commenting the price was fair....two weeks back? It was white and black I think...dont remember details or price. Never got around to seeing it. Was still thinking we would go though auction at that point to save a bit. Ended up not doing that....CPO'ed it. $3000 more at dealer than "average" at auction--hope it was smart. Figured VOB added new tires....($800 -saw bill), changed out some break clips and rotors....and the steering wheel was peeling (they switched out that part)....and the extended warranty would be worth it??? Little things I could avoid paying for if I went auction. Not sure I could have gotten in a 4.8 for much less at a dealer unless the miles were sky high. DARN TAXES killed the final line!! Ugg!!! $2500 taxes....cool though that VOB has no dealer fee. Guess they get you one way or the other but was happy to hear no dealer fee. The auction was $850 (sister knows a dealer that gets BMWs at auction in PA). Nice guy....saves you a few bucks. VOB was just so "close" in price.....peace of mind is important....and it was nice for me to look it over first and say "fix this little chip", made sure the nav. had a newer disk, two keys.....etc. Little things that can add up fast.

Rh71...oh??? I was going to have hubbie install the running boards? And/or his brother who restores old cars??...complicated? I have not gotten in an X that had the running boards on it. I did hear it will brush my pant legs. I am 5'4...not super tall. I wanted them more for the sport look. I feel they "complete the car". I think I would have waited all YEAR for a saddle. Next X....the diesel will have saddle (LOL).

BGM...Laughing.....not me in the pic. I am cute but dark, longer hair! Pics to follow. I will lay across the hood! You be the judge!

Thinking I may smoke out the red tailights.....tint the drivers windows (gosh I hope they can match close to the comfort glass in the back).....*thinking* running boards.......
